In these conditions, "the Organiser/host" shall refer to KUA and SKC, including their officers, servants, or agents. "Opponents" shall mean any person competing against the competitor.
By submitting my application to enter and compete in the tournament, and in consideration of my opponent competing against me, I agree to abide by the conditions of entry, the rules, by-laws, and regulations of the Organiser.
The Organiser enters into this contract both as the Organiser and as agent for the competitor's opponent.
I acknowledge the inherent risk of personal injury associated with participating in the tournament.
I agree that the Organiser shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, or otherwise, for any loss, damage, or injury to my person or property while participating in or attending the tournament, including but not limited to negligence, breach of contract, willful act, or default of the Organiser, regardless of whether such loss, damage, or injury occurs within or adjacent to any property occupied by the Organiser.
I agree that my opponent shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, or otherwise, for any loss, damage, or injury to my person or property while participating in or attending the tournament, including but not limited to negligence, breach of contract, willful act, or default of my opponent, regardless of whether such loss, damage, or injury occurs within or adjacent to any property occupied by the Organiser.
I authorise the Organiser to contract on my behalf to exclude my liability as an opponent, whether arising in tort, contract, or otherwise, for any loss, damage, or injury to another competitor, including but not limited to negligence, breach of contract, willful act, or default by myself.
I expressly waive any rights that may be inconsistent with the foregoing.
If under 18 years of age, entry forms must be signed by a parent/guardian.
I acknowledge and agree that any photographs or videos taken of me or my child while participating in the tournament may be used by KUA and SKC on their websites or in any advertising/promotional material as they see fit.

I acknowledge that my entry and/or participation in the Tournament carries with it significant risk of personal injury.
Therefore, for myself and the Releasors (defined below), I relinquish, release, and waive any action against the Releasees (defined below) for any personal injury arising out of and/or in the course of the Tournament, whether due to any disregard and/or technical breach of any Tournament rules or otherwise.
In addition, in the event of any legal action, I indemnify the Releasees against any costs and damages arising from or connected therewith.
Definitions:
"Personal Injury" includes any injury for which compensation might be awarded under General Damages and/or Special Damages at Common Law.
"The Releasors" means my family, dependents, heirs, executors, assigns, and any persons claiming through them.
"The Releasees" means any corporation, Organiser, or other body, and any person(s), jointly or severally, including servants, agents, referees, observers, or audience members associated with the promotion or conduct of the Tournament.
"Any Action" means any claim, right, and/or cause of action for damages under Common Law or any statute.
"The Rules" means the current rules of the World Karate Federation.
